Wellness Providers

  • Guramrit LeBron, CLC (IBCLC Candidate 2024)

Guramrit (she/her) is a Certified Lactation Counselor, birth/postpartum doula, co-owner of Ashe Birthing Services and the co-founder of The Bridge Directory, an online data-base of culturally competent providers for people of color.

After graduating from Syracuse University and working in marketing and at various publications, including Parenting Magazine, Guramrit trained as a holistic health counselor and published her first cookbook, Yogi Eats.

Through interacting with clients, many of whom were pregnant or birthing, Guramrit became involved in birth work. While her career has spanned several industries, each role shared the common denominator of amplifying the voices of those in under-served communities, especially in New York City and New York State.

Nurturing, educating, and uplifting families during transformational moments are essential to her work as a doula and a lactation counselor. Her commitment to this has only been deepened by becoming a mother to a son and daughter. After their breastfeeding journeys, Guramrit sought additional training and mentoring in Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs) and airway health.

Guramrit is pursuing a master's degree in Infant + Maternal Nutrition with a focus on a holistic approach to pregnancy, postpartum, and infant/toddler feeding. Guramrit is also pursuing her certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and is the recipient of the Fall 2023 IBCLC Education Scholarship from the US Lactation Consultants Association.

Having grown up in Korea with the wisdom of elders who cultivated medicinal herbs and practiced food as medicine, Diana became a practitioner after learning the history of activism that brought acupuncture into U.S. communities as an empowering resource. Diana has worked with a wide range of people—from pediatric patients, dancers and athletes seeking to speed up their recovery from injury, to those on a journey for their best self—and many of the most meaningful moments in her work have been in supporting fertility, pregnancy, and birth.

She is deeply committed to supporting her community in reclaiming their reproductive wellness journeys and overall health.
